About the Project

Leader Mittland Plus has been granted support for the project umbrella Smart village, a so-called umbrella project.

In the preparatory work for the development of the leader area's development strategy, the need to strengthen the association life, to increase the number of associations, and to increase the number of members in associations was highlighted. Since no applications with this focus have been submitted, the Leader Association wants to stimulate these efforts through the simplified procedure for project owners that the umbrella project model entails. We have therefore applied for project support to enable up to 10 sub-projects to be carried out locally with the umbrella project model.

The project will be able to provide micro-support to gather groups to together come up with development ideas to strengthen the local association life.

From the application

In the LAG board's control against the strategy's goals and areas of intervention, there are touchpoints within the local strategy.

Goal 1: An engaged, thriving, and co-creating population for strengthened local development power through sub-goal 1A Efforts to strengthen local community and we-feeling, cohesion, local engagement, and democratic processes as well as 1C new recruitment, continuity, and generational change in association life and local community. There may also be a connection in Goal 2: An attractive, sustainable, and inclusive living environment – a place to long for through sub-goal 2A strengthen attractiveness for our places to live, work, act, and visit.

The assessment is based on the project's focus being to promote various micro-projects with just these focuses in order to strengthen the association life and its new recruitment based on the associations' own needs.
