Apply for a micro grant for association development.
You can apply for up to 30,000 SEK for activities aimed at strengthening and stimulating a broader or stronger association life in the community or for example to strengthen your association.
Project content
The umbrella Strengthened Association Life aims to enable existing associations to develop their activities or to contribute to starting new associations. Organizations can apply for up to 30,000 SEK in support to carry out activities with local engagement to strengthen the association life in your community.
This means that you can apply for micro grants directly from the Leader office without going through the Swedish Board of Agriculture. You should already have determined what it is you want to develop together, and want to use the feasibility study to create a concrete plan for how you will implement your development idea and realize an idea to strengthen the association life in your area.
The micro-support cannot be used to pay your own salaries, but can be used to purchase external expertise, materials, and other things you need to implement an idea. It can also be used to carry out study trips or in other ways take part in others' good examples.
The hope is that the micro-support contributes to new solutions for associations around the leader area.
The idea is that the micro grants help to build a foundation for continued association activities over a long time. It should be a start-up aid to get going. Examples of content in the project:
- Preliminary studies
- Study visits to places where associations have carried out development work with good results
- Community meetings to initiate a thought process on how the activities in the association can be strengthened
- Hire external expertise for investigation, analysis, statistics, etc.
- Hire external expertise to conduct workshops, lectures, think tanks
- Activities that you believe can create a stronger association life, either within an existing association or in a completely new one.
The support can be applied for by an association or organization located in the municipalities of Bräcke, Ånge, Timrå, and Sundsvall, with the exception of Sundsvall's urban area.
About umbrella projects and micro-support
”Umbrella project” means that Leader Mittland Plus has applied for and been granted support that we can then distribute to smaller so-called micro-projects. The money is with Leader Mittland Plus and the application is made easily via a form, and a smaller group from the board decides.
In this way, we can distribute project funds with short notice.
The application process is such that the organization that wants to apply for micro-support answers a number of questions about its project, submits a detailed budget, and then waits for a decision from us.
When you have received a decision on micro-support, you can carry out your activity and pay the costs that you have had approved in advance.
Once the activity has been carried out, you report what you have done in a reporting form and submit invoices/receipts and proof that the organization that applied for the micro-support has paid for the cost.
When we have checked that everything is correct, we will pay out compensation for the costs you have incurred.
Our requirement is that everyone who receives micro-support must inform that the money comes from Leader Mittland Plus and the Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, as well as show how you have informed about it.
