Apply
It is easy to apply for support from Leader. We are here to assist you throughout the entire process. Are you considering something? Contact us and we will help you with your application in the Swedish Board of Agriculture's system.
Before the application
Start by contacting us at the office when you are considering applying for support. The application is made in the Swedish Board of Agriculture's system, but we would like to be your sounding board throughout the entire process.
Before you submit your application, try to prepare all documentation as much as possible, to know what applies – take a look at the following tips.
.
Budget
Important to know
When you apply for support in the Swedish Board of Agriculture's e-service, you need to supplement your application with a well-prepared budget. The template provided helps you include the correct information in the budget, and there are instructions in the template explaining how to use it. The budget should also be linked to your activities in the project. You save the budget template as a pdf and attach it to your application.
Also attach documentation in your application that shows how you arrived at your budget. Examples of this are quotes or other price information. If you have expenses for personnel in the project, you need to attach documentation for the calculation of hourly wages.
Please note that during implementation, you cannot incur other costs than those approved in the budget.
Things to consider regarding VAT!
Is the association/organization liable for VAT reporting or not? If you choose to state costs including VAT in your budget, you cannot deduct the VAT from the Tax Agency. Also note that in the budget you should indicate whether you are applying for support including or excluding VAT, and when applying for payment it is important to choose the same.
Power of attorney
Decide who will register the application
The person making the actual application must have submitted a power of attorney to the Swedish Board of Agriculture. It is not possible to log in with a personal e-identification until the power of attorney is received and registered with the Swedish Board of Agriculture. Therefore, it is a good idea to do this well in advance!
Apply with a formal form
Print, fill out, and sign the form as an authorized signatory. Then you send the power of attorney along with a certificate of who is the signatory to the Swedish Board of Agriculture at the following address:
Swedish Board of Agriculture
Animal Register Unit
826 84 Söderhamn
Each power of attorney is personal. Authorized signatories can issue multiple powers of attorney. The Swedish Board of Agriculture usually approves the power of attorney within 1-2 weeks and sends a confirmation by mail. Once the power of attorney is approved, the system automatically links the personal identification number to the relevant association when logging in with their personal e-identification.
instructional video

Leader Eastern Skåne has produced an instructional video where operations manager Jeanette Junge guides you through the entire process of registering an application in the Swedish Board of Agriculture's system.
How is your application assessed?
When you have submitted your application in the Swedish Board of Agriculture's system and it is complete, your application will proceed to our LAG board for assessment. They will review the application at a decision meeting where they score the application based on given selection criteria.
Thereafter, they will make a decision on whether your application should be granted, rejected, or referred back. However, it is the Swedish Board of Agriculture that makes the formal and final decision on support.
Member of our association?
In order to apply for project support with us, you need to be a member of our non-profit association before we can forward the case to the Swedish Board of Agriculture.
