Project content
Umbrella health and future confidence aims to enable more people to discover the opportunities with Leader support to increase health and future confidence in the area.
Are you a group of people in an organization that has a development idea to strengthen health and/or future confidence in your home village, or want to meet to start the work to together find ways to strengthen health and/or future confidence, there is the possibility to apply for a ”micro-support” from Leader Mittland Plus.
The micro support can be used to implement various activities that in the long term or directly should lead to strengthened health or strengthened future confidence in rural areas.
It can, for example, include inspiration meetings and brainstorming meetings with process management, lectures and knowledge acquisition, study visits and similar to see how others do to create new activities, or ideas that you already have and want a small financial contribution to implement.
The support can be a startup aid to get started. For example:
− Preliminary studies
− Study visits to places where others have carried out development work with good results
− Community meetings to initiate a thought process on how you want to continue working
− Hire external expertise for investigation, analysis, statistics, etc.
− Hire external expertise to conduct workshops, lectures, think tanks
− Activities that you believe can strengthen residents' health or future confidence
Organizations can apply for up to 30,000 SEK in support directly from the Leader office without going through the Swedish Board of Agriculture.
The micro-support cannot be used to pay your own salaries, but can be used to purchase external expertise, materials, and other things you need to implement an idea. It can also be used to carry out study trips or in other ways take part in others' good examples.
The support can be applied for by an association or organization located in the municipalities of Bräcke, Ånge, Timrå, and Sundsvall, with the exception of Sundsvall's urban area.
About umbrella projects and micro-support
”Umbrella project” means that Leader Mittland Plus has applied for and been granted support that we can then distribute to smaller so-called micro-projects. The money is with Leader Mittland Plus and the application is made easily via a form, and a smaller group from the board decides.
In this way, we can distribute project funds with short notice.
The application process is such that the organization that wants to apply for micro-support answers a number of questions about its project, submits a detailed budget, and then waits for a decision from us.
When you have received a decision on micro-support, you can carry out your activity and pay the costs that you have had approved in advance.
Once the activity has been carried out, you report what you have done in a reporting form and submit invoices/receipts and proof that the organization that applied for the micro-support has paid for the cost.
When we have checked that everything is correct, we will pay out compensation for the costs you have incurred.
Our requirement is that everyone who receives micro-support must inform that the money comes from Leader Mittland Plus and the Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, as well as show how you have informed about it.
