Leader Mittland plus is a non-profit association that works for rural development projects through the Leader method in the areas of Sundsvall, Timrå, Bräcke, and Ånge municipalities. The development area encompasses 131,147 inhabitants.

Leader Mittland Plus is a non-profit association that runs the office and leads the activities for locally led development through the Leader method that takes place in the municipalities of Bräcke, Ånge, Sundsvall (where the urban area is an exception), and Timrå. The main task is to convey project support to local development projects.
In total, our leader area has 41 million to distribute until 2027.
The Swedish Board of Agriculture is the managing authority for LEADER in Sweden. The authority is responsible for coordination, management, and payment for LEADER in Sweden. The local board prioritizes which projects align with the local development strategy and establishes the budget, but the Swedish Board of Agriculture makes the formal legal decisions regarding the payment of project support.
Membership
By becoming a member of the non-profit association Leader Mittland Plus, you support rural development with the Leader method.
To be able to apply for project support, you need to be members of our non-profit association before we can forward the case to the Swedish Board of Agriculture.
Companies, associations, and organizations or public entities that are active in our area can become members, as well as private individuals.
It costs 100 kronor per calendar year and can either be paid via bankgiro 789-9205, or we can send an invoice. If you pay via bankgiro, please write your name and organization in the message box. If you want an invoice, please email instead to info@mittlandplus.se.
All members are welcome to participate in the association's annual meeting and have the opportunity to elect our LAG board. (LAG=local action group) which decides on incoming project matters.
