About the Project

Leader Mittland Plus has been granted support for the umbrella project Smart village, a so-called umbrella project directly linked to the implementation project Smart village 2030, and aims to provide micro-support to villages/rural areas where groups want to develop concrete action plans for their own locality related to the smart village concept.

The project should be able to provide micro-support to gather groups to collaboratively implement local solutions to common problems, e.g., developing local economy and smart villages that contribute to the attractiveness or development of the locality.

”The purpose is for localities to be able to develop an action plan for development efforts related to smart rural areas within Leader Mittland Plus's geographical area.”

LAG decides to prioritize the project as it meets all basic requirements and achieves more than 300 points, which means that the project is assessed to contribute to the goals and efforts included in the implementation of the local development strategy for Leader Mittland Plus.
The applicant has described in their application that the project's benefits accrue to the countryside, follows the basic principles of the leader method regarding partnership, local anchoring, and local innovation, and through its results can contribute to Goal 1: An engaged, prosperous, and co-creating population for strengthened local development capacity through 1A Efforts to strengthen local community and sense of belonging, cohesion, local engagement, and democratic processes and Goal 2: An attractive, sustainable, and inclusive living environment – a place to long for through sub-goal 2F develop development materials, mobilize and influence attitudes, market, influence immigration.
