Expression of interest for assignment or employment

We are looking for one or two local coordinators for the leader project Prepared Neighborhoods Mittland.

Prepared Neighborhoods is a development project aimed at strengthening local preparedness through relationships, networks, and self-organization in villages, neighborhoods, and local communities.

We are now looking for one or two people who will together drive and develop the work in the Leader Mittland Plus area together with our project manager. The individuals will help create engagement, build networks, and support local initiatives that strengthen local capacity during crises and societal disruptions. You will work closely with our project manager, the municipalities' preparedness coordinators, local associations, residents, and other actors in the area.

The assignment is also part of a larger regional effort where experiences and methods are developed together with Leader High Coast and other actors in Västernorrland.

• Create meeting places and local discussions about preparedness
• Support people who want to engage in their neighborhood or local community
• Build networks between residents, associations, businesses, and public actors
• Collaborate with the municipalities' preparedness coordinators and contribute to dialogue between local communities and municipalities
• Spread knowledge, inspiration, and good examples
• Support local initiatives from idea to action to become self-organizing
• Contribute to developing working methods and approaches that can be used throughout Västernorrland

• For example, local development, self-organization, rural work, civil society, process management, association development, citizen dialogue, multi-level collaboration, or preparedness
• Local knowledge and networks in Västernorrland are advantageous
• Have the ability to create engagement and build relationships
• Enjoy working independently and together with others
• Have good communication skills and are solution-oriented
