Pre-studies Smart village
A simple feasibility support with a quick application where your association or organization can apply for up to 100,000 SEK to collaboratively create a plan to develop a smart village solution, e.g., to find common solutions for service functions and other functions you lack in the village.
The feasibility study should lead to a concrete action plan.
Project content
Feasibility studies Smart Village should contribute to new solutions to local problems. Associations and other organizations can apply for up to 100,000 SEK in support to engage locally and develop a plan for a collective solution to a local problem that you have identified.
This means that you can apply for feasibility support directly from the Leader office without going through the Swedish Board of Agriculture. You should already have determined what it is you want to develop together and want to use the feasibility study to create a concrete plan for how you will implement your development idea and realize your solution for smart villages.
The feasibility support cannot be used to pay your own salaries but can be used to purchase external expertise, materials, and other things you need to plan how you will practically implement your idea. It can also be used to conduct study trips or otherwise learn from others' good examples.
The hope is that the feasibility supports contribute to making well-founded decisions so that you can get started with your own solution for a smart village.
Examples of content in the project:
- Hire external expertise for investigation, analysis, statistics, geotechnical analyses, etc.
- Hire external expertise to write the action plan
- Study visits to places where Smart Villages have been implemented with good results
- Community meetings to inform about the work, e.g., local costs and refreshments.
The support can be applied for by an association or organization located in the municipalities of Bräcke, Ånge, Timrå, and Sundsvall, with the exception of Sundsvall's urban area.
About umbrella projects and micro-support
”Umbrella project” means that Leader Mittland Plus has applied for and been granted support that we can then distribute through smaller so-called microprojects. The money is with Leader Mittland Plus and the application is made easily via a form. The decision is simplified and only a smaller group from the board participates in the decision.
In this way, we can distribute project funds with short notice.
The application process is such that the organization that wants to apply for micro-support answers a number of questions about its project, submits a detailed budget, and then waits for a decision from us.
When you have received a decision on micro support, we write a cooperation agreement, then you can carry out your activity and pay the costs that you have had approved in advance.
Once the activity has been carried out, you report what you have done in a reporting form and submit invoices/receipts and proof that the organization that applied for the micro-support has paid for the cost.
When we have checked that everything is correct, we will pay out compensation for the costs you have incurred.
Our requirement is that everyone who receives micro-support must inform that the money comes from Leader Mittland Plus and the Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, as well as show how you have informed about it.
