The pre-study ”The Island That Wants More” aims to utilize Alnö's unique conditions and investigate how Vindhem, Tunet, and Carlsvikspiren can be developed into attractive meeting places for both residents and visitors. The areas have great potential to strengthen Alnö's identity as a vibrant and welcoming place with a strong connection to the sea, culture, and community life.

The Alnö Livskraft Association has been granted support for a feasibility study to explore the basis and interest for an annually recurring culture festival in Alnö.

The feasibility study is conducted as a mini-festival – two days with various cultural activities.

I förarbetet inför framtagandet av leaderormådets utvecklingsstrategi lyftes behovet av att kunna söka stöd för projekt som syftar till förbättrad hälsa och ökad framtidstro. Modellen med snabba mikrostöd passar målgruppen, och därför har Leaderföreningen valt att ansöka om ett paraplyprojekt för att göra det lättare för projekten att komma igång.
